One thing I love about photography is being able to capture a family and providing them with a memory. Happy to drive into DC today to photograph this family before they move to their next Navy Duty Station.

First Day of School

Today my little guy started Pre K. It seems like just yesterday I had him and now he is starting school!

Holden Family

A few weeks ago I had this wonderful family schedule a session with me. Their two little boy's are just so precious and I enjoyed getting the time to know them. 

 

 

Beautiful girl and beautiful personality too!

While trying to build my portfolio I contacted a group of people. One who answered asked if I wanted older kids. The tween and teen group is one that no one really thinks about. Everyone wants to shoot the newborns and High School Seniors. I offered my services and was happy to do so. This girl is beautiful and was so nice to my 4 year old son who happened to be with me at the shoot! Her Mom and Dad are going to have to look out when she starts dating!

Baby George

My girlfriend Carrie had baby George just days before the royal baby was born and named George. In our opinion this little guy is really the prince! I can't wait to watch him grow up!

Mize Maternity

This past weekend I had the pleasure of shooting my first maternity shoot. Hilary is pregnant with her second child and the sex of the baby will be a surprise. I think that is great, but know I would never be able to wait that long to find out! Can't wait to meet the little guy or gal in September!

Lee Family

The day we did these photos it was already 94 degrees outside at 9:30am. The kids did great with most of the photos, but after awhile we cut it short because it was too hot!

3 month old baby girl Kylie

This little girl has the prettiest blue eyes! Can't wait to see her for her 6 month photos!

Supermoon

Yesterday was the Supermoon. If you don't know what that is, it's when the moon is closest to Earth. I attempted to take a picture and hope you enjoy!

Baby Alex

I had the opportunity to shoot my first newborn shoot over the weekend. This little guy only wanted to sleep in Mommy's arms. So I was unable to get any of the poses that I wanted, but I did get some good ones.

Summer Is For Playing

With warm weather comes time to get outside and play!

Four years old and bounds of energy

This little guy (not so little anymore) just turned four. I wanted to capture all the energy that he possesses so we went to a farm so he could run around. They had these great big tires and he couldn't wait to go and play in and on them!

Old Farming Equipment

I'll admit I love to look at old equipment, old barns, old pictures, basically anything with some type of history. While out the other day scouting a location to take some photos of my son for his four year pictures I came across this tractor.

Becca Cake Smash

I had the pleasure of doing a photo shoot of Becca doing her first birthday cake smash. This little girl usually loves sweets, but wanted nothing to do with the cake.

Cherry Blossom Festival

The weather in Washington DC was to die for this weekend. Sunday was partly cloudy and in the 70's, what better of a day then to walk around the monuments. We got up early and road the train in and then walked a lot!! The trees hadn't fully bloomed yet, but are almost there. The parade is next weekend and they should be fully bloomed by then.

NCAA Time

We are big sports fans in my house. With the NCAA basketball tournament about to kick off I figured what better time to dig up an old photo. This is of my son who will be turning 4 in May. Hard to believe how quickly they grow! Let's go Spartans!

Family

This picture was taken while I was living in Sicily. My brother came to visit and I was able to capture this moment between Uncle and Nephew. It is a sweet moment and I'm happy I was able to capture this picture.
